The academic activities at UPSA go beyond the classroom. Each Faculty organizes its annual activities with the participation of students, who build their own learning from enriching experiences. Faculty Week Festival is held every year in May. Speakers, experts and graduates are invited to share knowledge and experience to enrich the content, techniques and values of each course so that they can orient students more closely in the disciplines and the labor world.
Some of the other academic activities to mention are: the UPSA Fashion Date, an exhibition and runway show with the designs of students from the Fashion Design and Management course; the Chemistry, Physics and Exact Sciences Olympiads, as well as conferences, courses, workshops, seminars, panels, visits from important national and international institutions. A prominent place is the Science and Technology Fair, known as the TecnoUPSA, in which the works developed in the area of Engineering are exposed.
